Isle Of Bute Motorcycle Adventure - Scotland's Underrated Island Ride

Is this really the Isle of Bute?! In this episode I take my Yamaha Tenere 700 on a full Scottish island motorcycle adventure, starting at Colintraive before hopping on the ferry across to the Isle of Bute. What follows is one of the most underrated motorcycle rides in Scotland. We begin in Rothesay exploring the historic Rothesay Castle before heading north to the incredible Mount Stuart estate. From there it’s all about the coastal roads — sweeping bends, open views and that raw Scottish island freedom feeling. Riding the shoreline past Kilchattan Bay and up toward St Blane’s Chapel, this island delivers everything an adventure rider could ask for — quiet roads, epic scenery and serious soul-reset moments. After a quick stop back in Rothesay for lunch, we push on to the iconic Pencil Box Phobe booth before finishing the journey at the stunning Ettrick Bay… and yes, we even take the Tenere 700 onto the beach.
