Riding the Himalayas: Bangkok to Bhutan Motorcycle Adventure (E1)

From the humidity of Bangkok to the roof of the world in a single morning—this is day one of the ultimate motorcycle dream trip. I’m riding the Royal Enfield Himalayan for the first time, while the rest of the group are riding brand new Honda NX 500 s . My choice. In this video, I’m taking you along for the start of an incredible group motorcycle tour through Bhutan with Big Bike Tours Chiang Mai. After landing at 9:00 AM, I had a choice: recover in the hotel or hit the road immediately. You know me—I chose the road. We met the Big Bike Tours team 14km outside of Paro, where I kitted up at the support van and had my bike delivered right to me. From there, we visited the stunning Chi Nindu Temple and shared a coffee in a local’s home before beginning the massive climb. By 1:30 PM, we were standing at the summit of a mountain pass, 4,000 meters above sea level.
