Fun idea. Those bandits are pretty much indestructible and they pack a punch for sure. The Honda should also just keep running once you get the exhaust fixed up.
What a trip down Memory Lane! 😂 About 25 years ago I tried to fix the SAME problem on the SAME exhaust configuration, with the SAME solution - and the SAME results!! 😂😂😂😂😂

Great bike the Honda CB seven fifty, the older CB 750 four, cost a small fortune. But I've seen these bikes with 100,000 miles plus! Ewa bike was a great deal :) BTW, you can buy a simple motorcycle usb hub for older bikes !

Brilliant! Ewa deffo got a good score there but I reckon when you get the pipes sorted on the Honda it'll be sweet! I have three bikes and one is a 97 XT600, nerly 30 years old and it's brilliant, not just for commuting donkey work but also great for a day long blast... and it keeps the miles of the the others. Love old stuff, cheap n cheerful and not laden with tech I never wanted in the first place, there's less to go wrong!

Both great purchases to be fair. Noise of the Honda sounded a lot like the gsx 1100 et I bought when I was 19, it had the alpha 4 exhaust on it basically 4 into a 2 inch diameter tube 😆, as a quick fix I rang a breakers in liskeard and they had a motad 4 into 1 mint for 100 quid, carried it home over my shoulder with some bungies, very painful 🤷😆♥️🇬🇧
