Thanks for sharing your adventure! As to what bike I’d choose, I’d go with the T7 since I’m mostly an off-road rider. I live in the USA and would like to do more of the Backcountry Discovery Routes and things like that. So T7 or even smaller (I wish Yamaha would make a Tenere 450 or something, but they probably won’t).. My last bike was actually the Yamaha WR250R I setup for ADV riding, but it’s a bit on the small side and would be nice to have a bit more power for higher elevations and/or keeping up with and passing traffic when needed for the times I do ride on highway or paved roads. Also, generally speaking, I trust Yamaha more for reliability/durability than some of the other brands. Just wish they’d actually make some more options/models of ADV and dual sport bikes.
Fuerteventura looks like a completely different planet.

Great footage as usual. I like the Norden due to the styling, it's unique and I just love it. The design team that did the Norden and also the two smaller bikes did a fantastic job.

That popcorn stuff was amazing, and it looked exactly like popcorn. We do live on a beautiful planet; it seems as though there is nothing like it for light-years around. The Yamaha Tenere was originally developed in Japan, but its design was later primarily influenced by the demands of the French Dakar Rally in Africa.
