For Highways you don't pay toll also you're not allowed on most of the expressway but when you enter some allowed ones in Uttar Pradesh.. you have to pay toll

Be most careful in rural areas. I have ridden motorcycles for 60 of my 68 years and never had more close calls than in rural India. I have ridden all over Asia and India was the only place I felt I was close to death from oncoming traffic many times. Safe travels in beautiful and fascinating India. Namaste 🙏🏽
