2024 RAM Promaster 136 WB Van Minimal Conversion for Camping and Carrying Bikes

Looking for a practical DIY camper van conversion for mountain biking, camping, and everyday adventure travel? In this video, I walk through my 2024 RAM ProMaster 136 WB low roof camper van conversion build and explain why I downsized from my old 159” wheelbase RAM ProMaster. This minimal camper van setup is designed for securely carrying mountain bikes, stealth camping, weekend road trips, and simple van life travel without an expensive full build. I cover my positive experience with Artioli Dodge, the entire van conversion process including insulation, wall liners, camper van windows, bike storage, twin bed platform, trailer hitch, and lessons learned from my previous RAM ProMaster camper builds. I also review products from Legend, Van Windows Direct, Curt hitches, Goal Zero and share real-world pros and cons of modern camper van setups for cyclists. If you’re researching RAM ProMaster camper conversions, DIY van builds, mountain bike van setups, minimalist van life ideas, low roof camper vans, or affordable camper van builds for biking and camping, this video will help you plan your own build. #RAMProMaster #CamperVanConversion #VanLife #DIYCamperVan #MountainBikeVan #PromasterConversion #BikeVan #VanBuild #CamperVan #VanCamping #ArtioliDodge

I have a '24 136 Promaster high top and wife has Subaru Crosstrek. Haha....yes, the Subaru adaptive cruise is error free, while the Promaster's not so much. However I make sure that the glass in front of the system's camera is very clean. This seems to clear the issue w the fwd collision control system shutting off randomly. I live in San Diego, CA, so very little precipitation. That may help also.
