Even top fighters in the UFC make so much less than top boxers. They should have a locked % of revenue guaranteed to the fighters that way it eliminates the excuse of saying the ufc takes all the risk. Think about this: in a profession that guarantees injuries, they don't even offer health insurance to the fighters. That pretty much sums it up.

The UFC is mainly at fault, but so are gyms. You can't expect a newcomer to pay the same as McGregor, especially since you know they aren't getting the same treatment. Would all be fixed if the UFC paid people better though. Gotta raise the base pay for fights, so the bonuses are an extra perk instead of things people need to get to keep going.

White needs to raise their pay. These guys should be able to train and live while waiting for their next fight.

Man sounds bad and rough. Need contracts where you garner percentages made on tickets and viewership if not everyone can get sponsors. Know the value of all the profit the UFC makes in a single day in a match and only agree to a contract where you're worth it. Especially in a profession where you have a high chance of going to the hospital after.

Basically its would take you forever to learn how to fight by just watchin ufc matches. Thats how they want it and some of your alstars like omaly suck they are just put on by puffing them up with a fighter just bellow their skill not a suprize of couse you dont want to break a rookies back with a fight they're not ready for. But the real alstars also get paid to give you a good spectacle not to teach you all the moves.

Now in days if your in a fighting club its like terrorisim. Theyll carge you with mahem even if its legit. They dont want ppl knowing how to be trained and ready. People that are uninitiated and on dugs will seek your fighters while they are slipping and attack them or harrass and involve them in contoversy even scam and kill. Groups of highly trained men contol the world and they dont want any gebronies knowing anything about their business.

These people have to be so focused and disciplined to get to this level. No matter what you think about MMA you have to respect anyone who is this disciplined. Money is not the only thing that matters. Olympic athletes have to be this disciplined to be successful. I doubt that the Olympic athletes who do biathlon or curling are living like kings or queens.

But if you fought at the UFC you can at least teach martial arts so its still better than working at mcdonalds

Bullsht the fighters make plenty of money,their economic common sense is non existent.Making a small house for one fight,while others work 15 to 30 years to obtain the same thing.Fighters agree to a deal,you don’t get to renegotiate that deal because the company,is making more money now.Thats just whinny bullsht
