Instead of Mastantuono Xabi put Camavinga on the right flank my goodness that guy played RB, RWB, RW all three positions in a single match tactical masterclass that was🌟

Barca fan here. Even through the game Madrid just sat in position, disciplined, and let us have the ball. We barely created anything at all throughout the game.

I feel like you failed to mention the RHS dynamics between Bellingham,Valverde and Camavinga. Literally was the reason why Madrid was able to move up the pitch. Barcelona’s press is passive as well this season. Although Fermin had space in between. We were quick to close the line is between. Barcelona’s true space was down the Right but Kounde generally didn’t push up which shows Barcelona’s need for maybe a new RB . Add in a new LW who can carry and provide 1v1 threat.

This is the most highest tactical setup I've ever seen. Its not easy to applied on the pitch. Credit to all players can managed the job

Madrid's pressing gave me a flashback of the Club World Cup vs Al Hilal, where the was a massive gap between the midfield and the rest defense and Barcelona without a target man couldn't take advantage of it just like Inzaghi did.

Now this is a 10/10 analysis, as Madrid fan we did well but I still saw the vulnerability in our press. We need to train harder to perfect this for the next classico

Would be cool if you also discussed different potential solutions for the other team

Just want to say as someone who is just getting into learning about tactics watching these games I really appreciate these video breakdowns! They are detailed and easy to understand which is awesome.

Almost all our goals were scored from high press, with xG of 4 it shows we were not serious plus we just need a ground breaking player to help break the highline if we have Toni yesterday we could have humiliated somebody

The score line doesn’t tell the whole story. Real Madrid Totally Dominated the midfield. Just unlucky for Real Madrid at times with 3 very very slim offside goals and Barcelona just couldn’t find the connection. With or without Raphina it would still be highly in Real Madrids favor .

second half approach is too risky, Madrid stop pressing and losing intensity. So glad that we able keep the score. hala madrid.

0:58 damn, Bellingham had to do two jobs?

Basically they took the risk because barca was missing key players. Especially Raphinha could almost for sure find opportunities in the breach of press

painful to see the adaptability of xabi and how quickly he's gotten madrid to execute so well
