Funniest thing about it is that when I was going to watch it, I expected random switches but it seems like Ajax mainly had 1 head i.e Cryuff called the switches and he primarily did that so that he can have time on the ball as that was; most of the time their best chance to score.
It really is true though. I think everyone relates to watching their own team play and their lack of positional awareness and team tactics to pass the ball when necessary and only shoot when the chances are higher over lower when there is no risk necessary. This style is arguably the best system to play well and safe. But he made a very good point. You can't have everyone play this style. It takes smart and physical players to understand it almost as well as the coach to make it work
