I have never seen a halt time like this. I would have called it „organized chaos“. Laimer played at least 5 different position when Bayern had the ball posession. I guess Stanisic has missed the only tackle in the first half. Just amazing to see how flexible a team can be.

What's so impressive about this version of Bayern under Kompany is everything you laid out that they achieved to completely dismantle PSGs gameplan and dominate the first half, AND THEN completely relinquishing possession and defending how they did in the second half. They were prepared and able to execute both tactical extremes in the same match in a way that feels unprecedented in modern football.

I can't believe the performance I saw from Konrad Laimer yesterday, I never expected him to play the way he did, him and Upamecano both. We can sit here and talk about tactics and approach and micro-analyze every passage of play all we want, the fact of the matter is that Bayern's press was flawless and after the red card, the low block was near flawless as well and that's saying something for such an attacking team.
