And it's important to explain what you see on the pitch as clearly as Lucas does, so don't stop reading. Insightful content 👏👏
Playing Football Manager gave me experience up to the 4th level. The 5th level is for team coaches or captains I believe. People leading a football team
Love this framework. What's fascinating is how level 3 and 4 overlap more than people think - saw some analysis recently showing that the best pressing teams actually use principles from both simultaneously rather than choosing one
Level 1 coach here, first year on 7v7 😅. We play 2-3-1-ish because every other team seems to do it. Really like the ideas with the principles. Would you set up "who, when how..." with every position in and out of possession? Any tips as well? Thanks for a great channel! 💪
You are helping me to move to the best level. Thank you so much.

Great vid, and I don't very understand at 9:27, the RCM is our spare man, but we don't utilize him at that moment because more defenders around him right? It seems to be more threat on our left side so we choose to pass the ball to our striker?
In total honesty I think I’m at level 2 would love to get involved with the course but bit pricey.

okay but one thing. how do you recognize the pattern, the principle behind the games you watch- and HOW can you be sure that you understood it right, interpreted it right? Cuz you don’t got any pro manager next to you to tell you that you got it right or wrong…how can one trust their insight fully?
great video! i do want ask about some of the questions you mentioned. 1. why players are playing in a specific area? well isn't the answer always because that is were they can use their skills the best? (for example, kane droops deep a lot because bayern use his elite passing range, saka plays on the right because he is left footed and so on) or give their team and advantage (semenyo drops to midfield to give city an overload in the middle) or is there a diffrent type of answer to that question that i didn't think about? 2. width. i don't think there is a good team in the world that dosen't make sure they always have width in any phase and any situation. so isn't the answer to that question always yes?
I'm on Level 3...
