we played 10-0-0 that switched to either 0-10-0 or 0-0-10 at the elementary school depending where the ball was on the pitch
The best formation by far is the legendary 4-5-4 which is much stronger because it allows you to field more players than the other team.
You forgot the famous 7-0-3 used by PSG during the Messi-Neymar-Mbappe time, with seven players doing the defensive work, and three players with egos bigger than their heads, who stayed on attack and walked on the pitch when they didn’t have the ball.
You forgot the 6-4-0 formation used by teams like getafe and heck even by osasuna against real Madrid last week. This formation provides extra and over defensive stability and zero attacking output. Opponents often try to win penalties against these team cuz its impossible to score. Often also called park the bus formation this is a nightmare for the opponents coach and attacking players😂😂😂😂
Imagine being a fullback with asthma in a 3-4-3
You missed out the Ange Postecoglu formation. The 2-1-1 formation he used last season as he lost his whole team to injuries.
Me watching this because I need new formation for efootball 😅
3:17 we actually mostly used a 4-3-3 and a 4-4-2 diamond during that period (2016-2018)
This guy: Modern football formations are not rigid and managers often change formations in-game Amorim: Understandable. Here's another 3-4-3
You can have any formation. The key is to have the players for the formation. That's why football keeps evolving. eg, being Barca under Guardiola 4-3-3, they had the exact right players at the right age to implement it for 4 consecutive years. Once the stars started aging and retiring, Barca couldn't replace them with that level of quality; hence, their struggles from 2015 onwards in Europe. 4-3-3 became a burden until Hansi Flick fixed it to suit the type of players he had, changing it to 4-2-3-1 (actually, that's his preferred formation, and the young players he had suited more to his 4-2-3-1 coincidentally), giving him prime Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, and Messi. He will even go back to 4-3-3. The challenge for most coaches is scouting players who suit their formations. not the other way around.
great video but Conte never used a 5-3-2 at chelsea he played 3-4-3 until his first season w inter and he switched to the 5-3-2 which was brief. Conte more defined by 3-4-3 or 4-3-3

In FIFA career mode I tend to use 4-1-3-2. You have the solid back line form the defenders, you have two central midfielders from the CDM sitting deep and the CM slightly further up the pitch. You have two wingers which provide width and you have two strikers up front. One of my favourite formations to use
Would love to see a 1-1-8 or a 8-1-1. 😂
One interesting characteristic of the 5-3-2 formation you didn't mention is that it allows a team to attack from one side, allowing one wingback to join the attack, while keeping a defensive line of 4 in case of a counterattack.
I love 4-1-4-1, used by Spain to conquer Europe in Euro 2008
The background music is so loud!!! Turn it down or remove it.
Nice video need a 3-4-1-2 one
WOW.Great video, for me is 2 , 3, 5. I like teams who attacking all time are so spectacular. Bravo. Thank you.
we also have 4-2-4, sweeper system and WM...2 -3 -5 formation worked because at that time, the offside rule was different - need to have 2 defending players instead of one between the attacher and the goal line
