Maybe the hamstring injuries are because the Spurs trainers and training isn't very good for him... He looks like his posture is off, he hunches forward a bit at the thoracic/cervical. Maybe you correct that with proper training to strengthen the posterior chain and perhaps his pelvis rotates slightly posteriorly and his hamstrings all of a sudden have the constant tension he doesn't even feel off them and who knows maybe those hammies hold up after that...
