👉 MENTORSHIP – Ready to become a standout data analyst? Applications for the next cohort are open! Apply here → https://theanalyticsaccelerator.com/ 🎁 2026 Roadmap - Get the expanded roadmap with links to resources and a month-by-month breakdown here → https://analyticsaccelerator.kit.com/roadmap ABOUT THIS VIDEO The data analyst advice you've been following is outdated. After mentoring hundreds of people into data roles at Uber, Peloton, and Grubhub, I've learned what actually gets you hired in 2026 - and it's not just "learn SQL and hope for the best." In this video, I'm breaking down: • The 4 differentiating factors most tutorials ignore (domain knowledge, technical ecosystem, soft skills, clear purpose) • The leanest tech stack you actually need: Excel, SQL, Tableau/Power BI (spoiler: probably not Python) • Why your career background in consulting, marketing, finance, or operations is your biggest competitive advantage • Portfolio projects that showcase real business impact vs generic Kaggle datasets • Job search strategies and networking tips that beat cold applying every time • Interview preparation tactics to level up with each round Whether you're a self-taught data analyst looking to break into data analytics or making a career change to data, this roadmap will show you how to land your first data analyst job with fewer applications and a higher salary. ABOUT ME If we haven’t met yet - hi! I’m Christine, a former data director and hiring manager helping ambitious career transitioners and recent grads land their first job as a data analyst. I'll be sharing the insights and strategies that empowered over 70% of job-hunting students in the first cohort of my mentorship program landed their first data job within 6 months, in today's super-competitive job market. I have 10+ years of work experience and only now moving into DA. This is the best video I've found as it cements the route I started on and gave me insights in where to focus next. Easiest subscribe that I can remember. Love this, and thank you!

hello, thanks to you I can finally land my job as an HR Data or people analyst. As I am expanding myself to be more vigorous in technical skills using software, may I ask on how to build habit or thinking framework to be someone asking the right question? I have been struggling or stuck to ask the right question and I want to embodied or internalized by practicing those. do you have any videos in this account so I can watch it? if not, please consider to create covering this topic on soft skills data analyst must have. thank you!

Thank you for your videos. I'm thinking about pursuing a career as a data analyst, but I don't want to use AI for ethical reasons. I've seen other channels say "AI won't replace good data analysts but you need to use it" - do you agree?

what if all job experience that we have is highly unrelated to data analytics, and this is a 1st you're putting yourselves out there?

Honestly, as a junior analyst, the pace of AI is giving me major anxiety lately. 😅 Tools like Julius, Bayeslab, and Power BI Copilot are already doing things that used to take me hours. I’m starting to wonder if the entry-level 'data monkey' days are over. Do you think we should stop obsessing over SQL/Python and focus more on becoming 'Agent Orchestrators' who just validate the logic? What’s the move for staying relevant in 2026? Would love your take on this!
