Titanstring is one of the best bows in the game!
21:27 Meant to mention: if you find soap bars, sponges or sponge trays, you can keep them in your inventory, then right-click on them and pick "use" to wash up when you're covered in blood or dirt. You can also do this with your party members.
Now that Scratch has brought you his ball, you can summon him to join you on your adventures. He can bite enemies, and he can help downed party members. This works by either throwing his ball outside of camp, or you have a new summon spell for him in your hotbar.
You can absolutely divide your party into smaller groups of 2 or 3 members! Just right click the portrait of your ally and select "Group" to individually make little pairs or trios
you definitely want to go south before you leave the zone, also you couldn't have saved the girl in green
Addicted to this playthrough. Keep doing what you're doing
At the wolf that said the stone is strange you should definitely check out that stone, something is there
New and interesting camp conversation almost always happens after you click on in the day, but before you select camp supplies to really end the day
43:43 sometimes it helps to look at the event logs (bottom right corner) when you fail a check repeatedly. Sometimes you're failing it because the check is so high you need a 20 to pass. Knowing will help you decide if the time spent trying to worth it.
Excellent gameplay, concidering it's your first play through! You can sell all books you've already read!
if you had opened the chest, you would have had to fight a monster, instead you returned it and was able to get the titanstring bow, one of the best bows in the game!
it was the dowry in the haystack, get gale to go over, save right before and then have him find it, also for the boost to perception, that would be intelligence,
this video was such a delight. your reaction to playing catch with scratch is so cute. fun fact, you can toss most anything (nonbreakable) in camp and he will bring it back. ` the big bit you've got blacked out on the map, to the upper left of roadside cliffs, is just a small place with some goodies you can hop up to. often thats where i first meet raphael, but you saw him in the grove. so, its just a tiny bit of looting and lore there. ` the main thing you can get from the burning building is food. and while after saving the guy, the upper section gets REALLY burnt, the bottom level stays about the same the whole time, and theres a kitchen stuffed full of camp supplies. though, its certainly not a needed thing to loot, as the game gives you plenty of food all throughout. ` the glowing i think comes from some visual settings you have set. i've never personally seen it happen in my game. its quite fun to see, it makes me giggle.
You can drag the character portraits to group/ungroup them, or select them and use the right mouse button. You can trade with almost every NPC while in conversation. There is a button in the bottom left corner. The bow you bought is great for Layzel/Karlach. The heavy crossbow you have received will be good for the other one. In some situations, the game will automatically switch to turn-based mode to give you a chance to handle the situation without rushing. This is the so-called "fight" against the environment. You can also switch manually to turn-based mode to stop the time when things are going crazy for some reason. Like dealing with traps, sneaking, stealing, performing several actions with different characters in one turn, and a lot of other stuff. Stacking crates can be used to climb to high places that you can't reach otherwise, for example. There are also other beneficial uses, if you can figure them out. Barrels with water/oil/smokepowder, etc., can be picked up to your inventory and used in the places you need them. Perception skill is based on Wisdom. You can see all the information on the character sheet screen. Karlach has fire resistance = damage is halved. Do not confuse this with damage immunity.
I learned the hard way that if you hear your character announce they see smoke and then you leave and long rest, almost everyone dies in the fire and you miss out on one of the best staves in the game as a quest reward. The Sparky McSparkler 😂
The writing is so solid that it could all be called the best.
Just enjoy watching you wander around aimlessly, I love that you exchange characters
I just want to thank you for sharing your play through! A wonderful respite! Aren't you glad for all the people who worked so hard to bring this game to life, I am.. I love every aspect of the game.❤
for your next playthrough, the burning rest has a kitchen with enough camp supplies to last a year. for me, i split karlach up by herself, send her to do the rescues, and then florrick will go and talk to my party members downstairs so i can go explore at the same time. there are also some really good chests in the area the trapped guy is in- if you misty step through the door, it won't blow up! these are just random suggestions- i love your videos, they're so calming!
Thank you for another video! :) There will be a few situations (without any spoilers) when a group of NPCs will be helping you in a fight for a common enemy(s). They will have yellow (neutral) circles underneath them. Be very careful with using aoe in fights involving neutral NPCs because they will aggro on you if they step on your aoe and completely ruin your day/quest. This is very frustrating and the only way to avoid it is not to use any spells that might catch them in a friendly fire.
