The guy and his family, absolutely terrible. He spent the entire video shaming his girlfriend for struggling with learning Spanish. He made her un-invite her parents, and lie to his family. He let her be humiliated by his family, get accused of lying and disrespecting their culture, and did nothing. It’s pathetic that she had to leave him, for him to get over himself. There is this saying in Portuguese, “ele acha-se a última bolacha do pacote”. It means, he thinks he’s the last biscuit in the package, meaning that he thought too much of himself. I wouldn’t get back with him, wouldn’t want to tolerate his rude mother and grandmother either. She deserves better.

I honestly feel for this woman. I have relatives who speak Spanish, but I’m one of the only people who NEVER speak Spanish. That’s why I used to take Duolingo to practice. OR, I could have my aunt teach me from time to time.
