Can't just use handbrake flying down a hill, it can make u turn over sideways. The best option was to go upwards & that driveway just saved his life & possibly other lives too.

Those don’t have hand breaks, in a situation where he had to make a split second decision I think he made the right one, cheaper to fix back someone gate and tek time fix up his car than continue down the hill and hit another car, a pedestrian or run over a gully

So if breaks failed how did it stop on a hill?
