Both chompy and Binky are misunderstood, chompy is assigned to protect the asylum for intruders, when he gets stuck he has no choice but to ask the player for help, after helping some kind of instinct inside him makes him harmless towards you, he's also Laurens guard btw And for Binky his tophalf is good and probably a child soul, and the bottom being the monster hungry part that consumes human flesh to program, so in addition Binky uses his Binky to keep his bottom half in check, near the end you can see Binky didn't want to throw chompy and it was the body half that did it, he even whines after chompy gets thrown. They both are equally misunderstood and were probably abused
