Got a buddy who has Thalassophobia. He encountered the reaper leviathan during his initial playthrough of subnautica 1. he said “I heard the noise, turned around and saw it coming towards me. I then closed the game and never played again” 😂

Jacksepticeye once decribed Subnautica 1 as "a hidden horror game" the second game seems to also fit that

I love that they kept that "You are being hunted" line, its 100% a throwback to the first game when you encounter a Reaper lmao
