I genuinely have never used ai for school homework tests or projects and my teacher once thought i had ai do a whole paper for my because everyone else in my class wrote it with ai that they were just to paranoid about looking for non "human" i then showed her how i wrote the paper and my style of writing and she finally was convinced that I wrote it

what sucks is that the “because I’m so good at writing that AI thought it was AI” thing is REAL. usually, (around 86% of the time from what I remember) if an AI is 90% or more confident an essay is AI, it is WRONG this is because all the AI checkers use the same AI people use to cheat. and all of THOSE AIs have a HUGE ego. they almost always will call any essay written by a human that’s extremely good an AI essay, because it assumes any good writing must have been its own work I nearly failed a class because of this and getting falsely flagged for AI, but luckily I had the google doc history to prove I did the work. (the professor was very about it though), ALWAYS use a file that tracks edit history when doing assignments!!!

Nah those AI detector softwares are garbage. I wrote a completely handwritten paper and it said it was AI and that phrases like “raises concerns” were common AI phrases. At this point we’re gonna have to write like this: “my good man, haveith thou heardith about thy concerns that require the upmost of raisings?”
