The reason why you got the debt overdue ending is because you took to long to actually get rescued! Hence that’s why it says your debt is overdue, the backstory is like loan shark, the company is corrupt.

The mermaid is actually a Siren, who lures sailors to death with her singing. You need the bucket in this scenario, to put over your head so you won’t be lured by her singing

Jay, you NEED to play 'Until Then'! It’s a 10/10 cinematic narrative pixel game with major 'Life is Strange' vibes, but it's set in the Philippines! It starts as a cozy high school slice-of-life story, but it quickly shifts into an incredible psychological mystery. Since you're half-Filipino, the local cultural nods and parodies will hit so close to home. Brace yourself though, because the emotional storytelling in this game will literally make you cry. Also, they just announced a massive DLC coming out soon, so you better play the base game now before the DLC drops! The game originally released back in 2024, so... sorry for making you play a game from 2 years ago, but it is a literal masterpiece that deserves a series on the channel.
