Good job getting out there again ma boi! I enjoyed the breakdown at the end. I am a slightly better than average golfer (maybe?) with an aspiring professional tween girl golfer at home that I am trying to help navigate her way into this crazy competitive golf world. One of her biggest struggles is just keeping a positive focus. She gets very down on herself for mistakes, and of course they tend to pile on after that. You sort of hint at trying to deal with that yourself, so I appreciate the candor and hope to catch more of your preparation for those future events, and how you manage that. As for the on camera challenge you have (that most golfers don't), all I can think is to try to do more solo vids and try to get more comfortable not relying on other members in your group to help fill the air space. Dude, the editing and finished product was amazing! Ive played a few Nicklaus courses and every one beat me up:). I feel like he decided to design courses to kick peoples asses or something. The thing you bring to the New Zealand crew is a bit of maturity, and you are just an easy to watch good solid dude. Every time I see one of your videos, I'm clicking on it.

Love the vids Tooms. My personal hopefully constructive feedback is that if you’re going to continue to enter these pro events (and I really hope you do) don’t worry about the “show” of it. People are already invested and onboard with your personality. We’d love to just see you full game face on in that environment. Be as relaxed and normal as you can be, we’ll always be engaged. Kwon and especially Peter Finch do this really well. In pro tournament videos they hardly engage with the audience other than in post round commentary but it works well because we appreciate they’re there to provide a different type of content. I’m rambling, but I hope this helps.

I have to say - getting back into tournament golf on a course like that.....with greens like THAT....holy crap! I hope you give yourself some grace because that course was diabolical. You did A LOT of things really good - bunker shots, flop shots, the 5-wood into the par 5 - make those shots on a "normal" course and you'll be scoring real well. Someone who can laugh and joke along the way makes you the perfect playing partner 10 out of 10 times. Keep working, but keep having fun most of all. If someone can't root for a good dude like you, they have something seriously wrong with them. Cheers mate!
