An old coworker of mine smiled at a patient's family member once and after that he began stalking her and would wait for her outside work. She took him to court, where he began to read a long letter about what he planned to do to her. This trauma is real and should not be taken lightly.

Thats crazy what a weirdo. I have a neighbor who just sits outside his house all day long and its right across the street from my house. I hate that he just sits there and watches my evey move. Watches when I come home, watching when I leave, watching who comes over my house watches who leaves. I cant even mow my grass or pick weeds because hes watching. My yard looks like shit. I cant open my garage and work on my car because hes watching. Everyday I wake up feeling distressed and there is nothing I can do about it, because he's not breaking the law so I cant call the police. Its extremely difficult paying a mortgage and living like a prisoner in my own house

Worst part about a person who thinks like this cruel man is that he probably LOVED that he could get to her so deeply and instantly. Stalkers will say it means their love is reciprocated for the weirdest things, they'll make a whole reality up in their heads and it's very scary.

Had a stalker in high-school. He followed me all over made multiple Facebook accounts to find me. He dated my foster sister to get close to me. Later as an adult showed up at work. Noone would help me. Eventually i just moved away. Decided to go to college later closer to "home" and one day in class ....he walks in. I fell apart on the spot immediately walked out. Lucky for me my professor took me seriously and they removed him from all my classes. It makes you feel crazy yourself... it just feels so unreal they find you like that. Its been 10 years since that incident and i haven't seen him once but when i go back to that area im on high alert... always on the look out.
