There's a good chance that everyone in that bus got their sentence reduced by Saul.

My gf kept accidentally referring to him as “better call Saul” while we watched it together so this was a big moment for us.

He would probably still get out on a technicality since Hank was doing some borderline illegal stuff when looking for Heisenberg

The ending really cuts deep, it's really not satisfying and seeing him locked up is jarring - but that was the perfect and most realistic way it would have ended for him.

The ending is one of the best ever. Jimmy embraces himself and takes accountability, he’s not Saul he’s just Jimmy. Kim sees what he’s done and hasn’t made a decision yet. Jimmy is just Jimmy. No lies, no cons. He just tries to be the guy he always was while owning up to the bad things he’s done and not trying to hurt Kim or the immediate people that Walter white hurt. Just serving his time as James McGill

Why did Saul end up in jail when Hank was the mastermind and forced Saul and walt to work for him?
Jimmy would be the safest person in the prison
"Told you, it's better coleslaw"
