I've got a disabled sister. My mother has taken care of her for the 44 years she's been on this earth without help from the government. Only recently has she decided to hire a few carers to help out. So far we have had nothing but trouble with them. Instead of taking care of my sister they constantly call my mother asking what to do with medication or schedule. Or they come late or not at all. Mind you these are people who have dealt with my sister for months now and have everything set out for them. And we recently find out that one of the carers can't read english but has completed courses regarding serious medication?? Now race has nothing to do with the job but it's kind of serious when your dealing with a disabled persons life and you can't read english in a english speaking country. The gov dropped the ball on everything and we as the Commonwealth have to pay for it and its now really showing.
