My mom grew up in the 70s and 80s, moving to South Florida in her mid-to-late-20s with my dad. She did coke. Smoked like a chimney. Partied hard. You know the drill -- think Scarface level parties in 80s Miami. The day she found out she was pregnant with me, she was smoking a cigarette when she got the call from her doctor informing her that she was about three weeks pregnant. She was mid-drag when she paused, looked at the cigarette, smothered it in the ash tray, grabbed the pack that was in her back pocket and proceeded to throw it away in the trash. That was about 35 years ago. She hasn't had another cigarette since. The fact that this woman is so selfish that she can rationalize doing harmful activities while pregnant disgusts me to my core and I KNOW would disgust my mother beyond reason.

Millennials nearly killed smoking, and then corporations rebranded it as edgy and made it legal to sell to children. The ONLY way vaping is better than smoking is that it doesn't cause second-hand smoke damage to everyone around you like an AOE debuff. Vaping is just as bad, and in some ways is WORSE than smoking cigarettes. Long-term vaping causes permanent scarring to your lungs (it's called popcorn lung). And then to vape and smoke weed while pregnant is just diabolical. That baby didn't ask to be here, and yet you're gonna fuck them up before they even get a chance to breathe air? All kids deserve parents, but not all parents deserve kids.
