I'd like to see the lower-ranked players get more. The disparity between the top handful and those ranked say about 80 are too extreme.

Anastasia is right! If the players want to change the system they need to go on strike, but obviously the consequences for them are different…when people go on strike they don’t earn money. They have to take some risk.

The Slams the players get paid plenty. 87k euros for first round without winning a match. Just playing one match. Second round 130k just for winning first round. All the way up to 2.8m for the winners. Most people who work get paid a salary not a % of the company's profits

She is neither right nor wrong Boycott is the tournament, the journalists don’t get paid by the tournament. She should have said if we do not have enough time to speak here, we can gather and speak more outside. I am happy to speak to the press.
Of course they should try to get more of the purse. The nonsense about ‘we’re doing it for the lower ranked players’ needs to stop though. I’m not a pro tennis player and I’m embarrassed by that. It’s unbelievable how difficult the simple matter of organizing a players union/organization/office of player affairs…. whatever is for tennis players, when are they going to get serious about that?

She's definitely a good player., but she's way too hard on herself on court. I feel like she would have better results if she were more forgiving of her mistakes. 🤷♂️ Just my opinion.
