Theres no shortage of options for weapons to use in a hitless run of Elden Ring. There are go to weapons such as the bloodhound fang and iron balls, which deal insane damage. This was my Malenia and PCR killer in my playthrough. The skill does ludicrous damage when charged, with hyper armor and is a spear so it pokes from shields.

I heard you say that Rykar was one of 2 bosses required to enter the capital... I think I've been breaking the game. I didn't look at any walk-through and cleared the capital without ever killing any boss in volcano manor. I went from Rennala to the briar guy with Maria executioner sword, then gravity sword horse guy, to up on the altus killed erdtree knight at far end gate, got into capital, killed 2nd form of Godfrey and another dude in capital. I'm going back for the serpent spear

It was straight up the meta option for months before a patch buffed the Star Fist. Back when I did my RL1 run literally everyone was using S.Hunter.

I'm suprise by how good it is, i remember bring it against PC radahn as a joke then actually managed to get him to 40% for first attempt and beat him after few more attempts, it also doesn't need alexender warrior jar so you can reach it full dmg potential with axe tailsman, ritual sword tailsman and golden vow much earlier
I’m 102% sure (2% margin of error) that this has been common knowledge since the games release
