I really feel like if certain games were limited to weaker Hardware they would actually make for a better game

If OOT was able to make hyrule field work a scaled down segmented limgrave could definitely work given enough time.
That perspective and walking animation makes me think of _Virtual Hydlide._

There is also a guy doing an N64 demake of Elden Ring/ DS
They make everything into a native ps1 game. Just wait until it’s attempted with something stupid like GTA6.
It's just amazing to see how graphics have changed since I used to play and born , when the play station one came out

Having to change disks every time you teleport would be hilarious and then plain annoying
Just play Eternal ring… It’s made by Fromsoft as well.
Fun fact, if TESV 6 doesn’t come out by 2026 there will have been more time between Skyrim and it than the PS1 and Skyrim…That’s not a fun fact 😢

I tell you, a PS1 game wouldn't look like that. This is more on the level of TES: Daggerfall.
