Those screams are unironically the most bone-chilling screams I’ve heard in any horror game ever
So this game is based on Egyptian mythology. The reason the game title is called amenti is because it’s the name of the Egyptian underworld that the Egyptians believed in. As soon as I learned what this game was about, I already knew this was my cup of tea because I love mythology, It is one of my favorite subjects just to let you all know.

Actually, the inside of the pyramids looked more barren and empty. When you see beautiful wall carvings and writings, its usually referencing the Valley of the Kings Temple. Ancient Egypt was a very large time span so their culture and way of life and honoring the dead changed in lots of years. The pyramids were stolen from and desecrated since they were much easier to find and spot, not mentioning they were around way longer than the Valley of the Kings Temple was. Even to the Ancient Romans, the pyramids were old. And since the Valley of the Kings Temple was an underground structure on a cliffside, it was easier to hide and secure. Pretty cool history if you think about it! Love your vids, Shogun!

I just realized why the queen haunts that place, her death was awful. She wasn’t mummified and buried. She was left there in that labyrinth, adorned like a queen, but left to die to watch over the king during his slumber. She died in the cold, dark stone walls of that place with no escape or way to see. Whether against her will or not, being buried alive is absolutely brutal as heck man.
Those screams at 18:12 were INSANE. Gave me chills. Goes to show how much good sound design / voice acting can improve a game. Also, those screams reminded me of the screams from that one video of the guy mushroom picking
It baffles me how UNFAZED this man is with every jumpscare, idc how many horror games you've played, this is TERRIFYING bro. This is the scariest horror game I've ever watched cory play, amazing job to the game devs.
