Cory was real aggressive with that murderer. So much so he didn't have ammo left for the fight....and then he bodies the guy with a poker like a boss. I've watched several playthroughs of this game and Cory definitely was the best.

Possibly the reason why Tom was able to tank 8 shots from a makarov is probably because he was wearing heavy ballistic armor from head to toe which made him quite the chonker whilst wearing the bunny costume.
