So where is cloud?
Not exactly Sir, let me try sharing my knowledge. Please correct me if wrong. Everything begins with hosting a website. Earlier to host website we need lease line to connect own servers on web. Over the time these servers were more efficient and powerful. So some company started accomodating other websites, which later named as ' Hosting Servers' . But for some companies these servers were not enough to do Transaction services, like irctc during 2010 to 2014. Even after 9/11 and frequent Malware attack IT companies started using redundant server for purpose of keeping backup. But it was pains taking costly process. So after launch of Virtualization, also called as Hypervisor from Intel and supporting software like VWware, the concept Cloud computing began. In this process , a big server like 128gb ram and 30 core processor or even more Powerful were used to create small cluster of virtual desktops over the internet. These Desktops are cloud computers . These desktop comes with some pre-installed Db, web servers, network manager and other supporting software. However user has full rights to install any software like we do on PCs depending on OS type, only thing is that since it's main purpose is for hosting so GUI may not be same and most of task are done one command line or SSh or shell. But as Amazon and Microsoft like player came, they added more services and automation. Also adding docker and kubernates made cloud computers serverless as they virtually replicate server environment so that Transaction services never fails. Hope this helps.. ,🙏🙏
Great
