This video explores the evolution of wifi sensing and its implications for surveillance, including its use in home security and how it could shape future technology. We also discuss the broader cyber security landscape as these capabilities become more advanced, making even a simple motion sensor a potential privacy concern. *0:06* Wi-Fi Sensing Technology and Privacy Risks *0:23* Detecting Human Movement Through Wi-Fi Signals *0:42* 802.11BF Wi-Fi Surveillance Standard Explained *1:13* ESP32 Wi-Fi Tracking and Presence Detection *1:30* Wi-Fi Detecting Heart Rate and Breathing *2:06* Tracking Multiple People Using Wi-Fi Signals *2:21* Ad Segment- Secure Agentics AI Runtime Security *3:03* How Wi-Fi Sensing and CSI Analysis Works *3:43* Invisible Wi-Fi Surveillance Everywhere *4:00* Wi-Fi Tracking Without Cameras or Wearables *4:25* Smart Home and Hospital Wi-Fi Monitoring *4:42* Hotel Room Occupancy and Bathroom Tracking *5:07* Border Security and Passive Wi-Fi Detection *5:31* The Future of AI Surveillance Technology *5:48* Unregulated Wi-Fi Surveillance and Privacy *6:02* The Hidden Dangers of Modern Surveillance Tech -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Join the Discord: https://discord.com/servers/thehivemind-1235399448780341289 Want to actually learn Linux, not just commands? i used to work for Williams Sonoma and that is what they used their wifi ap's for, motion detection, this was back in 2010
I remember hooking up a Sonos speaker and it did this to map out a room for audio. But it was using sound. Why would WiFi be doing this? Scary.
I want to test this out now.
I have a Faraday Onesie so I'm good 😁👍
Algorithm sent me here. Very interesting video. Well done.
Holy Sh*t!! i had no idea anything like this was a thing.. 😟😧 Easy sub for this, thank you..👍
What software was being used? The video is pretty fascinating.
Me, Claude, and Home Assistant. Welp. There goes my weekend.
Dude I’m so glad you’re talking about this cause no one thinks this is a real thing when I tell people about the they make me out to be crazy
Oh.... GREAT
I did not know it could track heart rate etc.
All waves — sound, magnetic, radio, you name it — can be weaponized for this. Combine them all with an “all-grid” superintelligence running the show and you could track anyone’s movement, anywhere, anytime… even predict their future actions in second-by-second precision with insane detail, way out ahead. In a sense it’s creating a parallel simulated dimension of the future that hasn’t happened yet — but the closer we get to the “now,” the more accurate it becomes based on real-time readings. Take it only if it resonates ahaa 🙌
I have been writing about this and posting on LinkedIn about it. People outside of the cybersecurity/tech world have no idea this is even a thing. Great video.
liked and subscribed, greetings from the Netherlands
didn't think I was going to have to fly under the radar in my home
I remember reading about Van Eck Phreaking 27 years ago in Cryptonomicon. It just comes down to how sensitive your equipment is and you can reproduce what is on someone's monitor in another room.
I will set this up in my house monitor my pet movements.
The Division (2016) had pandemic collapse, hyper surveillance and tech reconstructing crime scenes through wifi signals...
Wifi turned into a sonar sensor and tv speakers turn into microphones, inside your house without you knowing, then when you leave flock continues the surveillance.
This would be excellent for monitoring health or detecting an intruder. The Presence detectors in hotels are already microwave based.
