5:28 local hazmat personnel here, in a scenario like this where we have a super deadly nerve agent the process would take significantly longer. First we would do a gross decontamination(basically spray you with a hose). Assuming you’re in a suit we would take action to attempt to neutralize the agent with a chemical. Most times, a simple bleach solution does the job perfectly fine. In more extreme cases a more powerful chemical would be called for. Not in a suit would be a little more problematic in that we would need to take less effective means to decon that person. Then the person would get out of their suit and move straight to a medical monitoring area, where they’ll be observed until medically cleared. Hope this is a little educational✌🏻
