i can already smell the aztecross reaction video
It turns out the real endgame was making sure Pete Parsons could buy more cars.
I’m begging you to reach out to past and present Bungie developers/producers and write a “blood sweat & pixels” style book about what happened over the years behind the scenes at bungie. I would pay so much money for it
No doubt that leadership held this game back for over a decade. We always wondered what the "Destiny killer" would be, but everyone always knew that only Bungie could truly kill Destiny.
A death so tragic it drove Jason Schreier to start a goddamn youtube channel
Well. This was unexpected.
Bro's starting his YouTube career with spicy coverage on what will be looked back on as one of the most controversial events in the entire industry. Maybe The Traveler is blessing us with a different kind of Golden Age.
Did not expect that so many people really cared about Destiny, it’s kinda heartwarming
I think the beginning of the end of Destiny was the content vault. This caused a wall to get into Destiny 2. New players have no way to slowly go through the story and content. Because of this only veterans were playing the game. So once Final Shape happened. All the veterans left and with no way to get new players in. Because they kept vaulting content.
Destiny's entire development existence was turbulent. Not surprising the bill would come due one day
pops is a youtuber now 😭🙏
Jason taking the Paul tassi approach and fully realizing his YouTuber persona keep it up man
Ok, Jason has a YouTube channel. We’ve just entered a new era, guys.
I remember when Destiny was announced they said they had a 10-year plan for the game. They technically beat that target by a few years.
Bungie leadership was the group that needed layoffs, not the devs. But the world is rarely fair or just...
the most avoidable downfall in recorded history

It's crazy how many game we thought would be the Destiny Killer only for it to end up being Bungie themselves..
Vault of Glass was such an incredible experience. I remember just chilling in the Tower for the ambient music just to relax. It's such a shame because the game always made you feel like something else was out there, that what they had implemented was only a tiny fragment of what could be in this universe. To me, them fumbling the bag with the IP is up there with Mega-Man and Legends of Dragoon. It's such a shame man.
i just cant believe it ended on a star wars crossover, how embarassing
