My Lupo GTI had BBS alloys fitted when I purchased it. First thing I done was source some Bathurst and had them refurbished and fitted🤝

Standard wheels on a GTi all day long. Any other lupo yea aftermarket wheels are the answer, but a GTi should be stock wheels with sticky tyres. It's a fun car, keep it fun.

I would check the coolant as well, probably hasn't been flushed for a while.
I love the GTI style center exit exhaust, but the tips are sagging horrendously. Must be as easy as bending the exhaust supports to get the fitment perfect.
