Some states can’t read others tags. It will come up not on file. So freaking stupid. I was in NY and they tried acting like my Alabama plate was fake until they called the county dmv where I’m from and they were like no he’s tagged and insured

Now that’s what a compliant stop looks like. If you decide to give the cops lip service this could’ve gone completely a different way. Always be respectful to law-enforcement and you’ll have nothing to worry about unless you’ve done something wrong.

You cant pull Indiana DMV records from anywhere else except an Indiana based system that is online. Source: Myself and my job. I literally have a tab on my computer just for running Indiana Vehicles. Most everything else works through the national system of NCIC.
