Today was one of those garden days where everything happened at once 😅 We planted a massive tiger eye sumac into the prettiest woven container, tucked in some bargain petunias around it, and started building out a brand new hedge in the side yard with standing ovation service berries. There were tree stumps, roots, questionable spacing decisions, and me sweating through my clothes while pretending the fan clipped to the back of my hat was keeping me alive 😂 We also planted the prettiest cotton candy phlox and went through a whole haul of plants from First Editions including hydrangeas, roses, distylium, and more. It’s finally starting to feel like this area is turning into the formal cottage garden space I’ve been picturing in my head 🌿✨ Wicker Basket Planter: https://urlgeni.us/amazon/WickerBasket Large Gorilla Cart (1200lb Capacity): https://go.magik.ly/ml/2feok/ Laura - Garden Answer 3" Auger: https://www.gardenanswer.com/collections/all-augers/products/garden-answer-3-x-36-auger The Medium Sized Spearhead Shovel: https://urlgeni.us/amzn/MediumSizedShovel Clip-On Hat Fan: https://urlgeni.us/amazon/ClipOnHatFan First Editions Website: https://firsteditionsplants.com First Editions YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@UC0TalNc3lrSSiNMa9BEh14Q 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻 Check out our Q&A channel: https://urlgeni.us/youtube/channel/RobbieMcMenomey (Affiliate links Below) Shop all my favorites on Amazon! 😃 https://urlgeni.us/amazon/Amazon_StoreFront Metal Edging: https://edgeright.com/visitourgarden V.O.G. website: https://www.visitourgarden.blog The best garden shovel https://urlgeni.us/amzn/MiniSpade Follow along on Instagram: 📸 https://www.instagram.com/robbiemcmenomey/ 🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼 Contact: For general info E-mail: [email protected] For business inquiries E-mail: [email protected] 🐌 Snail Mail: Robbie McMenomey P.O. Thank you First Editions for gifting those beautiful plants to Robbie and appreciating him for the awesome gardener that he is! 🪴 My very first stop at the nursery is always at the purple potted plants. I’ve had great success with First Editions phlox (the fragrances are divine!) and their Little Hottie hydrangeas which don’t wilt in full afternoon (Zone 3) sun! 🤩🇨🇦
Hi Robby & Brett! Love your garden.❤

First Edition you couldn’t have pick a nicer, kinder, garden loving gentleman as Robbie. My favorite garden channel❤❤❤
Robbie your garden is looking so beautiful 💚🌳🌿
Shout out to Clairey for the 'FUN' plant tags. We all need some fun and laughs in the garden too. Robbie and Brent - your garden is becoming a real showstopper just when I thought it couldn't get any more beautiful.
Put a nice potted plant on that tree stump. Your yard just looks fabulous!
I’m glad you are pulling that “lily”. Your garden is so beautiful. Everytime you film down that part piece of the garden, I say what Is that and why doesn’t get rid it.
This is so pretty.
What about putting some white feather guara in front of the new hedge. It would be such a light, fluffy, airy touch that would be so whimsical.
Oh Robbie, I am so happy for you! You have really hit your stride, and are now starting to reap the rewards. You deserve it all, you have worked so hard. Your garden looks stunning, and you look happy. What more could one ask for? Well, okay, maybe to win the lottery so you can keep buying more plants, LOL!🥰💐
13:56 omg I am so glad u pulled the grass! ❤❤
I love a green backdrop. It’s looking so pretty already .
Your so smart to Put the sumac in the pot! The Cascade mountains have native Sumac growing on the hills between the evergreens and in the fall the colors look like fire between the dark trees. It’s absolutely gorgeous and we drive over the mountain pass just to see the Sumac.❤
What a beautiful picture that would be with Freya lying in the middle of the plants! 😊Gave a hype!
You’ve got a good vision for your garden Robbie!
Oh, Robbie, I LOVE it! I have the Tiger Eyes sumac and the Standing Ovation serviceberry. They are both stand outs in my garden. My sumac is 3 years old now and 7 feet tall already (so, emmmm....plan on a spot). However I can tell you it rarely has babies and when it does they are easy to snap out of the ground and get rid of. No worries about it taking over. The serviceberry is one of my favorites. The birds love the berries and I love the bluish green color of the leaves. Mine is 2 years old and has put on about a foot of growth in that time. I'm hoping it picks up the pace once it feels established, I really want it to be 14 feet tall. Such great choices, I hope you get as much enjoyment out of them as I have.
