Excellent signing imo. Whenever Raphina wasn't available last season, our pressing upfront suffered and as a result so did our defense. HansiFlick's system needs a pressing monster and Gordon fits that role perfectly. 👏 This Gordon signing alone improves our offense as well as our defense simultaneously. 👏

Raphinha was signed by Barcelona from Leeds after scoring 17 goals across two seasons. He went on to record 50+ goal contributions in the 2024/25 season and became a key part of Barcelona’s plans. If that trajectory is anything to go by, there’s no doubt Gordon can succeed as well.
Gordon is an excellent player but spending 80+ million on him will be chaotic for us. Let our past experiences with the deals of Dembele, Coutinho, Griezmann and others be our guide.
