I saw the difference in Port Harcourt They have television in a shop where they sell female clothing. Shops inside the market They are comfortable watching TV while customers are passing. Not in Onitsha They are practically dragging customers into their shop. You will not even know when you buy what you did not budget for

Exactly I'm Igbo and I saw growing up that Igbo women were not encouraged to build wealth even though this is not how our foremothers were. But with the advent of white collar jobs and billionaire importers, it became a flex for women to be housewives and " Oriakus" This was even portrayed as a way of honouring their husbands and showing trust and respect of her husband's earning prowess- his "Odogwuness'. Many women shrunk themselves so their husbands can shine. On the other hand, I lived around Urhobo people and saw married women building houses- E shock me. Their husbands were 100% aware and we're even happy to live in the women's house,though they may contribute a small fraction and take the glory. It was not a Biggie in their culture. In my end of the earth, a married woman building would have been interpreted as her being bossy or trying to belittle her husband etc and thus may have to be done secretly. This is so true Living in lagos and buying things from yoruba's is something else. Pricing is a big problem you end up getting insulted. They just want you to buy at any price. But in the case of an igbo man, you might still end up buying at their price without knowing because of the way they will attend to you.

You need to see business attitude in Abuja. Even a bike man has a level of pride I don't grasp. There are thousands of businesses that open at 7am in Akwa Ibom to catch the early customers doing school runs, but Abj? Omo, business people here are absolutely ridiculous!

Wait until you come to Ekiti. People that open shop by 9-10am and close before 6:00pm.
