As a package handler in a UPS warehouse this type of stuff happens. It’s not intentional shit just happens. You handled that fantastically And the guys delivering it were Great aswell

my bikes package was messed up too. it was fine. heavy metal pieces inside a box are fine, as long as your electrical is good youre good🤷🏼♂️

As a delivery driver for automotive parts I try to be up front like this as well. Better to refuse it and get a replacement then unload it leave it wait for driver to come back load damaged one back up and then unload the next one. Plus it makes the company look good

It's great that you were cool about it. I used to deliver for Lowes and if we got something in damaged most people would be a holes about it. It's not the delivery drivers fault, again thanks for being cool about it.

Believe it or not he’s smart for accepting it. If it’s super damaged they’re gonna make it right and send him a new one anyway. Hopefully they let him keep the damaged one though. Idk if the company will risk spending money having it shipped back just to see it’s cooked and throw it out anyway 🤷🏽♂️. He could use it for parts or end up fixing it himself
