This movie really lives up to its title “Original Sin” because every character was battling temptation, choices, and consequences in their own way. Michael Dappa as Cardo delivered a performance that felt raw and believable. You could see the internal struggle between his dreams and his morals. He wasn’t just chasing fame,he was fighting himself. That moment when he finally confessed to Mirabel? That was growth. That was conscience speaking louder than ambition. Then Frederick Leonard… as always, he brought intensity. His character was deeply flawed manipulative, desperate, and willing to cross dangerous lines just to fix his marriage. Asking another man to seduce your wife? that’s not love, that’s control mixed with guilt but at the same time, you could still see a man who didn’t want to lose his home, that complexity?he nailed it. Mirabel’s role stood out in a quiet but powerful way. Her honesty “My body betrays me when I see you but I genuinely do not want this ” that line alone carried so much weight. She represented discipline and emotional strength in the middle of temptation. And Bambi… honestly, she’s the real MVP. Loyalty, patience, and love even when she was being pushed away. She didn’t just stand by Cardo; she helped build him back up. Advising him to go back and chase his dream, even after everything? That’s a different kind of love. Final thoughts: This wasn’t just about music or fame it was about choices. Cardo could have lost everything chasing success the wrong way, but he chose to walk away when it mattered most and in the end, he still got everything success, family, and peace.
