Here’s how the death scene of Homelander was actually created — and the behind-the-scenes work is insane. The team first used heavy prosthetic makeup on Antony Starr and created a detailed replica of Homelander’s head so they could later enhance it with CGI and VFX. But the craziest part comes during the final scene where Billy Butcher kills him.
