100 years of this fantastic man. Happy birthday Sir David
I don't think I've ever seen such an outpouring of celebration by so many for a person that is not a member of the royal family. Sir David Attenborough has steadfastly, diligently and consistently stuck to the script of life and has put all of his attention and focus on introducing and educating us about the natural world and he has done so with aplomb! He is a true professional in that he has and continues to better his craft. He has also spent decades teaching us without we feeling as if we've been talked down to or that our intelligence has been insulted. That alone is something that sounds easy, but so, so difficult to actually achieve. An amazing and incredible talent and the best thing, he is now on his way to reaching his 101st birthday.

Sir David is the best of us. when I was about 14, we took a school trip to Moscow and stayed in a Pioneer camp. On the way back at the airport we happen to notice a familiar man in front of us. So we asked him, are you David Attenborough? To which she said yes, I am. Then he proceeded to hop up and down all excited telling us about Siberian hamsters, that can smell their mates from over 30 miles away. He really is the most adorable man. ❤
I got stung by a scorpion, after the wild fires here some how it ended up in our bed. The pain was unbearable thankfully it only lasts 24 hours. It felt like someone was holding a hot iron against my knee and every so often they pushed it in harder.
