That's exactly how they act. My father wouldn't even let me recover after I had surgery. He invited workers to come to the house to begin construction in the back room of the house. I was in a lot of pain, and he kept walking back and forth, looking at me with disdain. Eventually, he asks, "Are you okay?" I really don't like my father.

Ohhhh I’m going through this as we speak, the last 5 days, hubby has been in the hospital. I was up there 24/7 the first 2 days until I went home to get him clothes, check on the house and turn on the pool pump. Well as I was skimming the top of the pool, I stepped on the skimmer lid, The lid flipped and my left leg went straight to the bottom, messing up my knee and foot extremely bad where I can’t walk. My leg was stuck in the hole up to my thigh, with my foot caught through the basket. DH called at that very moment and I was in intense pain! He tells me I need to hurry up and get up there because he doesn’t wanna be alone. I was fuming! But I got myself together and headed back up. I parked the car and what would normally take me 10-15 mins to walk to his room, literally took me an hour. I limped across a big parking lot, through the lobby to the other side of the hospital, up to the sixth floor, and then back to the other side of the hospital on that floor. I was up there with him for 3 more days before a nurse on his floor, seen how much pain I was in and how VERY bruised and swollen my leg was, she wheeled me down to the ER. I was in the ER just long enough to get a CT scan of my leg when I got a call from DH again yelling and cursing me out (which put me into a panic attack) that my bullshit leg wasn’t as important as what was going on with him and to get my ass back up there. I had to unhook myself from the machine and walk out the ER before getting results or anything for pain. I tried to stay home last night but at 1am I got reamed out for not caring about him and I better get my ass up there in 30 mins ( remember it took a hour just to walk up there, not to mention we live 20 mins away). Now me being the person I am I’m wanting him to get the care he needs in order to get better this time and not walk out like he’s done numerous times before. So there I went, I limped myself back up to his room, crying the entire time from the excruciating pain! His reason was, he needed me to be there in the morning when the dr comes in to talk to him, which I wanted to hear or know about. I asked him to FaceTime me when the dr comes in but he didn’t want to do it that way he needed me and and to there or he was walking out. So I went stayed, morning came and I wake up to my husband thanking the dr and the dr walking out the door 😮😠but when I’m up there he didn’t wake me up when the dr came in. Tonight when I was up there, I was getting ready to leave. He told me to hold on. He was gonna get his paperwork and he’ll leave with me. I told him he’ll have to find his own way home, then I crutched out. He’s been nonstop calling me now, I answered 1 time but hung up on him and turned my phone off after he told me I needed to get my fat ass up and walk my bs leg up there now! I’m now being accused of being with other men and that’s why I’m not there! 🤦♀️😒

This is so triggering. Breathing and picturing grass right now. Especially tying the sickness to going out with the friends-got to work in that isolation 😅

What’s sad is there are other channels claiming that getting upset about situations is your fault and that people may have no idea they are doing anything wrong . So basically their channel gaslights people who have narcissistic people in their lives , I think there’s a lot of people that have no idea how it is to live like this so they say it’s all in the head of the other person it’s maddening . The narcissist is a expert at manipulating and the control they have gets worse as time goes on they absolutely know what they are doing just when you think your done with the relationship they can be the kindest person .
