I think making the other room an office/ guest room makes so much more sense and then this room the baby’s room! 🤷‍♀️

Have you ever thought about switching Cade’s room and the office? The nook built out might work better for an office/ship station, etc. and you’d have the guest bedroom space too. Of course you’d lose the guest bedroom aspect but the couch still could work for that. Just a thought!

I agree with the some of the other comments. This room should be Cade's room and the other room could be office/guest room. Just makes much more sense. The area you have Cade in now would make a nice office and you already have the guest room set up.

I understand the needing the room to change but I’m sad Romeo isn’t getting his vision included as much. I was really looking forward to that execution of that vision. A lot of the inspo felt very Macenna if that makes sense. Still very beautiful tho

It would make a lot of sense to put the master bedroom in Cade's b.r./guestroom. Make this current office into Cade's bedroom. It seems obvious that your current bedroom would be a great office.

I would move the primary bedroom to where the current guest/nursery room is. Then make the current office the kid room eventually but leave it as an office for now. Then have the office/guest bedroom be downstairs. This way guests aren’t using the primary bathroom when visiting. You could still work somewhere upstairs when needed? This would make the whole upstairs a family suite since you have a little one who doesn’t need their own bathroom.

My only criticism is, Romeos vision could of still been incorporated in that room, it seems more your style than anything he would choose. I understand having different styles because my partner and I are incredibly different, but I always make sure we both are involved in styling.

I was thinking it would be so cute if this became Cade’s room and you did an office and guest space combo in the other … although I guess then you wouldn’t have a bed and a sofa bed in the same room. It’s a thought.

I think Romeo should be more involved in room makeovers. He needs a space for himself.

I really like the idea of separating those units and putting one on either side of the window. It would give a build in vibe!

This would be a fun time to collaborate with Drew. That would be such a fun episode.

I think making the other room your spare bedroom / office area and make the office Cade’s room.I don’t believe you would need curtains to separate the space, you wouldn’t be working in there at the same time someone is sleeping.

Have you considered swapping rooms? The current office is big enough for two eventual kids. You could have a queen bed for Cade and he can sleep over in your room if you ever need to sleep two sets of guests. Then you don't need to work around the couch, and can have more room to still have that king bed and office in the alcove in the current guest room/nursery.

What about moving your office to the front living space since you don’t really use that area much? Although it’s lovely, sort of sad to see you design over Romeos room.

Actually yes I change my mind, I do agree with all the comments - it would be sooooo much easier to reimagine the office as an adorable 2 kid room, and the current guest room as an office/guest room! 🤍

Man such negative comments on this video. Macenna and Romeo are usually very much on the same page and he supports her, her design etc so not sure why everyone is acting like she just pushed Romeo out of this room😅 people have bigger opinions than he has probably on this
