This is actually all true. They don’t tell you this, but 96% of all movies released in North America and Europe are actually directed by the same person. They call him “The Older Gentleman.” He has had all of Hollywood in a chokehold for decades now. They make you sign over all of your intellectual property, life rights, and genetic information to him when you enter the industry. He loves movies.

The situation is so insane that it ended up in the sloprooms; the layer below the backrooms.
*Not to mention,* the studio making the Backrooms movie is *A24.* You know, a studio known for giving a lot of creative control to more unknown and amateur filmmakers than most other mainstream studios. Making this rumor even more stupid and baseless.
The slop is now about people who peaked in high school being mad at a young adult who hasn't even peaked yet
I highly doubt that Kane didn’t work on the movie. His original series alone really just speaks for itself on how talented he really is.

I genuinely don't know what's weirder: the people making up these strange, baseless accusations, or the people losing their minds over an obvious lie and arguing to the death over it. Literally who cares. The slop is just sad on all fronts today.

2:18 The funny part about Obsession is, if they actually did research they would learn that Blumhouse did not make the movie. They bought it. The movie was already filmed and edited before Blumhouse entered the picture. It was 100% made by Curry and his team. All Blumhouse did was get it into Theaters everywhere and marketed it, plus will handle future distribution. They bought it after they saw the screening during the 2025 Toronto Film Festival.
World seems to have a vendetta for young people. Rising living costs, diminishing employment opportunities, rapidly declining public services, death of the arts...
