6:20 Bungie has consistently failed revenue objectives even before Sony, thus it makes logical that they don't want to spend additional money because Bungie will undoubtedly mess it up again in the future under present leadership. Sony should take over and keep the skilled developers

With every community member breaking down the problems that led to this decision, it's very clear that leadership and mismanagement of funds is the issue. Leaders seemed to have not listened to developers or players, and put too much money in resources that didn't pay off. New Leadership, same developers, and a simpler game. We've felt this for years.

I got my degree in game development. I worked in the industry in 2022 and 2023 before the industry crashed, but I've been working on indie projects since then. I would say that I have a pretty good idea of what game development is like It is UNFATHOMABLY ANGERING THAT BUNGIE EXECS DID THIS TO THE DEVELOPERS! IT IS SO GODDAMN FRUSTRATING THAT THE EXECS AND HIGHER-UPS OF BUNGIE DID THIS TO SUCH A DEDICATED PLAYERBASE AND TO SUCH DEDICATED DEVS! Holy fucking shit, we all have the right to our anger, and that VERY MUCH includes the developers who wanted to make this game better for us, the community

My biggest complaint about this is all the content in the DCV is lost forever. We were promised it would come back, but now the game's ending and we'll never have the Red War, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, Forsaken, and all the seasonal content is lost forever. That's raids, campaigns, missions, destinations, a coherent onboarding experience is lost forever. And that hurts so so much.

A D3 in 4 years...so perfect, it's my retirement from work!

Also, with all these reports from the devs, we REALLY REALLY REALLY gotta find out who all is pulling the strings. It’s absolutely insane that we hear that developers WANTED to give us what we are asking for but somebody(s) is so brutally disconnected and may as well be clinically insane that they would reject and deny the ideas that would probably return profits to the game 20 fold. WE NEED TO FIND OUT WHO IS ON TOP.
