No Bungie, I will NOT allow you to FORCE me to play Marathon. I tried it and I hated it. F Bungie.
We need Marathon to completely fail. It needs to be an example to other game developers what not to do. Let Bungie close down because of this and Sony to take another HUGE hit. If it somehow doesn't fail, then other developers will try to pull off similar moves (most of which will fail) in the future as no lessons will be learned.
Bungie's operating mentality has been doing a sprint with one shoe untied. They run hard and do great but then then they step on their untied laces and trip hard. They get up, brush themselves off, twab/twid about how they've "learned their lesson this time and will listen" and knock something out of the park. But they never tied that shoe lace and they're sprinting again, only to trip up again. And now they're just down. It was good run everyone. The studio that made gigantic, world changing games like Marathon on Apple, Myth, Halo, and Destiny... it's done.

Most big gaming companies need a change in leadership. We're tired of seeing companies pulled into terrible directions based on the greedy top executives' decisions!
For me, there are a couple of significant things at play here. 1) The multi-year mistakes made by Bungie's management/executives. The false promises. The empty statements of "we are listening". The content vault" and 2) Sony rightly made the decision to narrow Bungie's focus to their new creation of "Marathon - Not Marathon So in the end, I would have more care for whatever Soni-Bunge does if the Destiny 2 players got back ALL Vaulted content. We spoke with our wallets, our good will, and our patronage valued at approximately 3 billion dollars (even if inflated by Petey's team). So before considering any new offerings from Bungie or even anything from Sony, they should listen and give us back what is ours so that Destiny 2 can be fully engaged with just as Destiny 1, which hasn't had new content in years, is fully accessible. Companies need to Stop Killing Games if they want their customers to trust them enough to spend money on their new offerings.
I don't want the games to have had to battle. But when it became clear that they did, the wrong choice was made.
The sure fire way of causing more pushback? Tell the angry fans to stop being angry and “don’t buy the game”.

I hope when the June 9 update drops, most people ditch marathon for D2. It would be hilarious to see. Bungie did this to themselves. Im also tired of people telling others how they should feel about all this. Bungie has earned every single bit of this backlash. They lied to the D2 player base. Telling people to vote with their wallet is the same thing as rooting for the game to fail.
I can't wait till they blame us for them going broke because we're not buying Marathon
"Just speak with your wallet" WHAT DO THEY THINK WE DID FOR THE PAST DECADE ??? HUH ?!!! We paid for content that got removed in the end and we kept paying and paying. Honestly at this point sell the Destiny IP to a new studio that wants to make a good D3 and let Bungie be history and die

I feel like bungle leadership are the type of people to hide being infected until it’s too late.
4:52 people like to call people who are upset over destiny, crybabies, etc. yet destiny made so many promises to their community that ultimately never came true and got dropped for a game that literally crashed and hit the water not even sully could’ve saved that game
