Jev if you are playing without traction control manual is easier at least for me because you can shit early and it helps me prevent wheel spin
Manual transmission can help with wheel spin because you can do early up shifts to gain better traction
Try using simulation steering, standard delays your steering input makes it hard to correct but sim steering will make the cars snappier but easier to overcorrect and spin out.
